First Monday Fun Day

Family Apostolic Church hosts a Bible study series on Monday nights at the VFW Hall in South Lyon (the same venue where we have weekly Worship services). But once a month, we do something different!

On the first Monday of every month, we host a Fun Night: either board games, or a Euchre tournament, or a Christian movie night. These are community oriented events with any and all welcome to join us.

God’s Not Dead 2 Movie Night – July 2019

Still working on the exact date. The first Monday in July is awfully close to the 4th of July, so we may do this one later in the month. We will be watching the 2nd installment in the God’s Not Dead series. The first is about a student facing off against a hostile atheist professor. The second movie is about a teacher unfairly attacked for answering a faith question in class.

These are great movies, but please be aware that some of the scenes are realistic and intense. I would not recommend these movies for children. Teenagers and up are a better fit.

TheVFW Hall has very nice padded chairs, but you can also bring your own lawn chairs for more comfortable seating.

We will be playing the movie on our projector screen with our full church sound system for maximum quality. The movie will start about 7:10pm and should end around 9:05pm.
